About Avalon
Avalon is a lovely cottage hidden in a valley at the end of a short, unmade narrow lane in Nolton Haven, located in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
It is only a few minutes downhill walk to the beautiful and unspoilt sandy beach - here join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and admire the wonderful sea views over St Brides Bay. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the beachside local pub, there is also a lifeguard monitored beach.
The cottage is surrounded by a lawned garden. The shallow stream to one side is fenced. Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with the spacious lounge having a leather corner sofa and the cosy bedrooms being well appointed. French doors open onto a large, sunny decked area which is perfect for alfresco dining. The property also benefits from a sizeable porch which is useful for storing wet clothing, shoes and luggage.
Avalon has proven popular over the years with many guests returning and is a must for those seeking a good family holiday in an area abundant with leisure activities and for the more adventurous kite surfing at Newgale beach.

Avalon is located on the right hand side (north side) of a C class road running downhill to the coast. It is at the end of a own, shared, narrow, stone chipped track which has a stream to one side, down a steep bank. Upon arrival at the cottage there is a wooden gate to a gravel parking area large enough for 3 cars. There is a turning circle that can accommodate a 4x4 vehicle. There are around 10 steep steps to access the property from the driveway, there is a wooden handrail to one side and low stone wall to the other. 2 more steps take you into a large porch which can store prams, coats, boots, luggage cases etc. There is then a threshold step into the kitchen and from here everything is level. There is a large living room that has an extensive leather corner sofa and a white extendable dining table to seat six people. There is a set of double doors leading to a decked area in the garden. There are steps down to the lawn with handrails to both sides. The garden is fenced to two sides with a steep bank up to a field at the rear. There is a fence along the bank to the stream. Although enclosed, it is not secure for dogs to be left unattended.

Weather been very unkind to us this year with lots of rain. We were cosy and warm in the cottage though and the dogs did manage quite a lot of walks on the dry days. Had a lovely stay again in Avalon. Hope to be back again next year for a 4th time. Thanks for a lovely comfortable cottage.

Another lovely week in this quiet corner of Wales, and at Avalon! Really like the improvements - sofa is much more comfy. Coast walks to Druidston and Newgale were good, didn't quite make it to the sea this time - nice weather but a chilly breeze. Overall nice and relaxing, and comfortable week. Thank you once again!

Wow! What a wonderful cottage. Felt so relaxed and comfortable, this place has everything you need for a great holiday. Beds comfy, no problems at all. Recommend Whitesands for surfing - hire the wetsuits and surf all day! St Justinians for a stunning walk and Blue Lagoon for 3 hours swimming, sliding and hot tub for me! Pembroke Castle great for kids. Wonderful stay - we will be back - thank you guys! xxx

We have really enjoyed our stay here at Avalon. We come every year to Pembrokeshire and love the area. Our morning walks at Druidston with the dogs were lovely and we were extremely lucky with the weather. We hope to come and stay again next year! A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries, very peaceful and quiet, not overlooked, First holiday with Lucy our dog she loved the sea and beaches, we would definitely come here again,Had good Sunday lunch at Harbour Inn Solva, Day trip to Tenby, Saundersfoot, walked along south beach in a t shirt in October!
